Part II !!
Day 6.
So this day mostly consists of being in the bus, sleeping, rest stops and a whole lot of pretty countryside view. Kinda grateful for the amount of time able to sleep on the bus. Since I was pretty jetlag even until that day. We spent most of the day in the bus because we were travelling to Hungary.
So for lunch, we were at this place called Donovaly for lunch.
Skiing season.
There was a ski resort nearby and a skiing area. Since it was skiing season there were tons of people. I shit you not ladies and gentlemen, this cabin might look like it serves so so food, but their food will BLOW YOUR MIND.
BEST FISH EVER. Their lamb was also really good. Medium rare. UGH. Should've ordered another plate of lamb for myself. But we were short on time.
Back on the road after lunch.
So after many rest stops, and hours of sleeping and watching movies on the bus, we finally arrived Budapest, Hungary at evening. We got a little on-bus sightseeing. The nightview was absolutely gorgeous, especially the stone lions at the entrance of the bridge. But sadly since we were on the bus I couldn't snap a pic of them.
Heroes Square. It was freezing cold.
Then after a torturous 20 minute of snapping pictures at Heroes Square we headed off to have Hungarian dinner.
Not bad. I actually quite liked it. The chewy-ness felt like Pan mee. hahaha.
They had a really sick view of Budapest from the restaurant.
Day 7.
Still in Hungary, we got to explore a lot more cathedrals. To be honest, the whole tour mostly consists of visiting cathedrals and churches. But they were all pretty interesting in their own ways. The artwork on ceilings, tainted glasses, marbled pillars, painted walls. All of them were really unique.
Note: Most of the pics don't have captions cause I seriously can't remember what's what. At least they're pretty.
Day 8.
This day we visited the Hungarian Palace. (I think??) Sadly we weren't allowed to take pictures inside of the palace. It would be priceless if you could. Seriously every room in the palace has a different theme, very intrigued by the ceiling paintings and details of sculptures. They even had a room that had walls all drawn out by ink, and also a Japanese themed room.
The palace garden was HUGE. The pics might look like its nothing, but in reality its really no joke.
More cathedrals. I really like this one.
Then after visiting a whole lot of historical places, we were brought to a living estate which wasn't supposed to be on our tour schedule. It felt really like home.
That tree is apparently 100+ years old?
End of Day 8.
I'm going to save the best for the last post of my journey.
Guess where we went next.
All I've got to say it has something to to with music.
